Aaron Sarathy, DMD, received his degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Following graduation, he entered the US Navy on active duty and is currently in the US Naval Reserves. Dr. Sarathy completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD/Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, DC, and at Naval Hospitals in Bethesda. He was appointed to the Department of Head and Neck Surgery division of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Naval Hospital in Beaufort, SC. He specializes in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery and has expertise in corrective jaw surgery. He is a member of the Carolina Cleft Lip & Palate Team, as well as the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS), Southeastern Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (SSOMS), South Carolina Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology (ASDA) and the American Dental Association (ADA).
